Lancaster County’s Proposed Municipal PRP Projects

The Penn State Agricultural and Environmental Center utilized all the submitted Municipal Pollution Reduction Plans to create a GIS map of all of the proposed projects. For those without access to GIS Software, a report was generated that includes projects sorted by watershed and BMP type. To download the GIS layer, click here . To download the report, click here .

The projects were identified from submitted PRP plans that may or may not have been approved at the time the map was created. Not all implemented PRP projects will be on this map and not all proposed projects on the map are likely to be implemented.

Penn State Harrisburg Student Video Project

In the Fall of 2018, the Lancaster County Clean Water Consortium partnered with Penn State Harrisburg to develop a collection of short videos that will be used to educate the public about best practices for protecting water quality. These videos explain concepts such as proper lawn care, stream health and vehicular maintenance. For more information, check out this article in Penn State Harrisburg News; Students develop educational videos for LCCWC. Three of these videos can be found below; please share these videos in a way that recognizes that they were created by PSU students for a class project.
