Lancaster County’s Proposed Municipal PRP Projects

The Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center pulled all the submitted Municipal Pollution Reduction Plans and put all the proposed projects on a GIS map. A report was also generated for those who don’t have access to GIS software. The report includes maps of the projects sorted by watershed and by BMP type. The projects were identified from submitted PRP plans that may or may not have been approved at the time the map was created. Not all implemented PRP projects will be on this map and not all proposed projects on the map are likely to be implemented. To download the GIS layer, click here:GIS Layers. Penn State Harrisburg Student Video Project

During the Fall 2018 Semester the Lancaster County Clean Water Consortium educated students at Penn State Harrisburg on stormwater and water quality issues. The students, in a technical writing class, developed short videos explaining concepts like proper lawn care, stream health, and vehicle maintenance. Penn State Harrisburg News wrote an article explaining the full project: https://harrisburg.psu.edu/story/16301/2019/04/17/students-develop-educational-videos-lancaster-county-clean-water-consortium. Here are three examples of the videos created. Please share in a way that recognizes that these were created by Penn State students for a class project.
